Dysport
A fast-acting alternative to Botox that smooths wrinkles while preserving your natural expressions. Clinically proven, FDA-approved, personally tailored.

What Is Dysport?
Dysport (abobotulinumtoxinA) is an FDA-approved injectable neurotoxin that relaxes the muscles responsible for frown lines, forehead wrinkles, and crow's feet. It works through the same mechanism as Botox — blocking nerve signals to targeted muscles — but has a slightly different formulation that some patients prefer.
Dysport is known for its fast onset. Many patients see results within 2 to 3 days, compared to the 5 to 7 day onset typical of other neurotoxins. It also tends to spread slightly more from the injection point, which can be an advantage for treating larger areas like the forehead.
Dysport vs. Botox: How We Choose
Both Dysport and Botox are safe, effective neurotoxins. The difference is subtle: Dysport may onset faster and spread more naturally across larger muscle groups, while Botox may be better suited for precise, targeted areas. Some patients simply respond better to one over the other.
At Auveau, your provider will recommend the product that best matches your anatomy and goals. Many of our patients alternate between the two or try both before settling on a preference. There is no wrong answer — the right neurotoxin is the one that gives you the result you want.
