Lip filler treatment at Auveau Aesthetics in West Lake Hills

What Is Lip Filler?

Lip filler is a hyaluronic acid injectable used to add volume, define the lip border, smooth vertical lip lines, and correct asymmetry. The most commonly used products are Juvederm Ultra and Restylane Kysse, both FDA-approved for lip augmentation.

At Auveau, we approach lip enhancement the same way we approach every injectable: with restraint. The goal is never to create an obviously "done" look. We build volume gradually, respect your natural lip architecture, and focus on proportion and symmetry that complements your face.

Why Patients Choose Auveau for Lip Filler

Lip filler is one of the most technique-sensitive injectable treatments. Placement, product choice, and volume all determine whether the result looks natural or overdone. Our providers, led by Chrissy Gray Lim, PA-C, specialize in subtle, proportional enhancement.

We take time during your consultation to understand what you want — whether that is a slight volume boost, better definition, or correction of asymmetry. We use topical numbing for comfort and inject slowly with micro-droplet technique for the most natural result.

"I’ve received Botox and fillers from a number of different places, but I’ve never encountered an injector that I need to recommend so highly. Patty Belisle is an artist. She thoroughly looked at my face and made excellent recommendations. Best med-spa experience I have ever had. Plenty of parking..."

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does lip filler last?
Most lip fillers last 6 to 12 months depending on the product used, your metabolism, and the volume injected. Touch-up treatments can maintain your results over time.
Does lip filler hurt?
We apply topical numbing cream before treatment, and most filler products contain lidocaine for added comfort. Most patients describe the sensation as mild pressure rather than pain.
How much filler do I need?
Most first-time patients start with half a syringe to one full syringe. Your provider will recommend a volume based on your anatomy and goals. You can always add more at a follow-up visit.
Will my lips look natural?
Natural results are our priority. We use micro-droplet injection technique and build volume gradually. The goal is enhancement that looks like a better version of your own lips, not an obvious change.
What is the downtime?
You may experience mild swelling and tenderness for 2 to 3 days. Bruising is possible but not guaranteed. Most patients return to normal activities immediately.
